Marshall City Council to consider new business

The Marshall City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow, June 27.

The Marshall City Council, which includes six members and the mayor, meets at 7:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Monday of each month at City Hall, 201 S. Michigan Ave.

Consider and take action on an Ordinance Waiving Automatic Increase Set Forth in Chapter 86, Utilities. Article IV. Water Service. Sec. 86-107. Charges and Rates for Water System.

Consider and take action on an Ordinance Authorizing the Sale of A 1989 McGraw-Edison Transformer.

Consider and take action on a Resolution Ascertaining the Prevailing Rate of Wages for Laborers, Workers and Mechanics Employed in Public Works.

Consider and take action on temporary funding of the Safe Routes To School Project.

Adjourn to Executive Session to Discuss Personnel.

Consider and take action on Mayoral Appointments; Director of Public Works, Superintendent of Public Works, Senior Technician, Office Manager, Chief of Police (and ESDA Coordinator), City Collector and City Attorney.

Consider and take action on an Ordinance Setting and Establishing the Rates of Payment for Various Employees of the City of Marshall, Illinois for the Fiscal Year Commencing on the First Day of May, 2016, and Ending of the 30th Day of April, 2017.
