Mattoon High School to hold cheerleading informational meeting

Mattoon High School will hold an informational meeting for all students interested in cheerleading.

Mattoon High School plans to hold an informational meeting for all who students interested in joining the cheerleading team for the 2016-17 season at 3:45 p.m. Monday, April 4.

The meeting will be held in room 403 at the school, which can be accessed by using the entrance in the back of the school by the tennis courts.

Lauren Haskins will be the new head coach of the varsity team, after serving as the junior varsity coach for the last two years. Haskins cheered for Lake Land College and was previously the assistant coach for the Arcola junior high and high school teams.
