The Casey City Council addressed construction matters and committee updates during its Jan. 18 meeting.
City Clerk Robin McClellan announced two payment approvals, including $2,894 to the firm of Hannum, Wagle & Cline Engineering for the Casey Wastewater Facilities Improvement Construction Engineering.
Park Committee Chair Sharon Carlen reported on a Jan. 11 meeting concerning the discussion and review of a tax levy on the park district, in addition to future park improvements.
The City Council meets again at 6 p.m. today.
