White students made up the majority of enrollment in Douglas County school districts in the 2024-25 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of the 3,069 students enrolled in Douglas County school districts, 79.4% were white. Hispanic students were the second-largest group, accounting for 16.5% of enrollment.

In the previous school year, white students were the most common group in Douglas County school districts, representing 80.6% of the student body.

Tuscola Community Unit School District 301 had the most diverse student body in Douglas County, including African American, Hispanic, multiracial, and white students.
