Illinois State Representative Adam Niemerg is promoting an opportunity for high school seniors in Illinois to apply for scholarships aimed at supporting their education at colleges or universities within the state. The Township Officials of Illinois are offering seven scholarships, each valued at $2,000.

To be eligible, applicants must provide an official school transcript and participate in an interview with a township official. Applicants must also be U.S. citizens and residents of Illinois.

Niemerg, who was elected as a Republican to the Illinois State House in 2023 representing the 102nd District, took over from former state representative Darren Bailey. The deadline for scholarship applications is March 2.
