Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond High School’s official account, #GoKnights, posted a series of updates this week highlighting classroom activities and school events.
On November 9, the account shared a glimpse into recent Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) class projects, posting: "FACS classes made tacos and apple pie bites this week."
Two days later, on November 11, the school promoted its Veteran's Day Program via social media. The post read: "Don't miss our Veteran's Day Program today at 1 pm at the ALAH High School. If you are not able to attend, you can stream the program https://t.co/c0160Uw0Es https://t.co/lbyfpzQvId" The same day, another announcement was issued: "Announcements: Tuesday, November 11, 2025 https://t.co/pBNyHmMUh2 https://t.co/B3qK2shG8f"
Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond High School is located in Arthur within Douglas County and serves students in grades 9 through 12. In the 2019-2020 academic year, enrollment stood at 328 students (source). Demographically, the student body was composed of approximately 94.5 percent white students, with smaller percentages of black (1.5 percent), Hispanic (2.7 percent), and Asian (0.3 percent) students (Illinois Report Card).
