State Representative Adam Niemerg, serving the community from Dieterich, welcomed Rhett, Zoey, and Emma Clodfelter to the Illinois House. These Lawrenceville homeschool students served as Pages-for-the-Day, offering them insight into the state's legislative process.
Rhett Clodfelter, a senior and prospective U.S. Air Force enlistee, balances his studies with dual college credit at Wabash Community College. He is active in the local homeschool FFA, the Faithful Friends 4-H Club, and volunteers his time at a local food pantry.
Zoey Clodfelter, concluding her freshman year of high school, is engaged in the local homeschool FFA, the Faithful Friends 4-H Club, and volunteers at a nearby animal shelter. Zoey aims to progress in her violin ensemble and focus on medical education.
Emma Clodfelter, also a freshman, participates in similar activities, including the homeschool FFA and the Faithful Friends 4-H Club, while volunteering at the animal shelter. Her interests lie in design and entrepreneurship, which she pursues through her jewelry business, with future plans for a graphic design degree.
Accompanying the students to Springfield were their mother and grandfather.
