Casey Westfield Community Unit School District C-4 Board of Education met Oct. 16.

Call to order at 7:00 P.M.
1) Roll call.
2) Recognize visitors. Individual visitors are allowed to bring up topics for Board discussion, information, or consideration at this time and/or indicate agenda items they may be interested in addressing later in the meeting. Complaints or certain situations involving specific employees or students are not to be addressed in open session of the Board meeting. The Board may hear complaints or certain situations involving specific employees or students in closed session. The Board president shall determine whether a situation requires addressing in closed session.
3) Act upon approval of consent agenda items:
A. Minutes of the regular meeting of September 18, 2023,
B. Destruction of the verbatim record of those meetings 18 months and older as authorized by Board Policy 220 and 220-E1.
C. Financial and budgetary reports and current invoices for payment.
4) Act upon approval of bid for snow removal services for the 2023-2024 school year.
5) IASB Presentation of Superintendent Search Timeline. Act upon approval of timeline. 6) Administrator Reports
A. FOIA requests:
1. on 9-28-23 from Katharine Casey of Science of Reading Illinois, Richmond, Illinois; for 1) the names of the universal/core curricula currently used to teach reading in Kindergarten through 3rd grade, 2) the grade levels these are used if there are multiple reading curricula, 3) the dates the reading curricula were purchased, 4) and if there are plans to purchase different literacy curricula in the future.
