Charleston home prices fall in July 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2019 in Charleston fell by $10,000 while total sales increased by 17.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2019, there were 27 homes sold, with a median sale price of $105,000 - a 8.7% decrease over the $115,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 23 homes sold in Charleston in July 2018.

The median sales tax in Charleston for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,119, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for July 2019.
