Q2 2019 Legislation: Sen. Dale A. Righter sponsors or co-sponsors 16 bills

Sen. Dale A. Righter (R-55) sponsored three bills in the second quarter of 2019, 10 less than the average Illinois state senator, and was added as a co-sponsor on 13 bills, 23 less than the average, according to a East Central Reporter analysis of data made available by the Illinois General Assembly.

During the second quarter, 59 senators sponsored legislation, with Sen. John J. Cullerton (D-6) sponsoring the most with 45 bills. There were 59 senators that co-sponsored legislation, with Sen. Jacqueline Y. Collins (D-16) co-sponsoring 104 bills, more than any other senator.
