Windsor Community Unified School District 1 Board met April 24.
Here is the minutes provided by the board:
1.Call to OrderPresident Matthew Bennett called the meeting to order at 6:30pm.
2.Roll call The following were present: Matthew Bennett, Michelle Schultz, Stacy Cole, Karen Pfeiffer, Albert Shafer, Nick Hendrickson, and Matt Greuel. Administrators Erik Van Hoveln and Brian Lee were also present.
3.Pledge of Allegiance
4.Administer the Oath of Office to New Board Members.
Stacy Cole, Albert Shafer, Nick Hendrickson, and Brett Barnard took the Oath of Office
5.Current Board Adjourns Bennett made a motion to adjourn at 6:37pm seconded by Greuel. MOTION CARRIED by voice vote – all yes.
6.Call to OrderNick Hendrickson called the meeting to order at 6:38pm.
7.Roll CallThe following were present: Michelle Schultz, Stacy Cole, Karen Pfeiffer, Albert Shafer, Nick Hendrickson, Matt Greuel, and Brett Barnard. Administrators Erik Van Hoveln and Brian Lee were also present.
8.Select President pro tem and Secretary pro temShafer made a motion to select Nick Hendrickson as President pro tem and Stacy Cole as Secretary pro tem, seconded by Greuel. MOTION CARRIED by voice vote – all yes.
9.Reorganization
a.Election of Board President for 2 years.
Shafer made a motion to nominate Matt Greuel as Board President, seconded by Schultz. Member’s votes were: Cole – yes, Pfeiffer – yes, Shafer – yes, Hendrickson – yes, Greuel – yes, Barnard – yes, and Schultz – yes. MOTION CARRIED 7 – yes, 0 – no.
b.Election of Board Vice President for 2 years.
Shafer made a motion to nominate Nick Hendrickson as the Boards Vice President, seconded by Greuel. Member’s votes were: Pfeiffer – yes, Shafer – yes, Hendrickson – yes, Greuel – yes, Barnard – yes, Schultz – yes, and Cole – yes. MOTION CARRIED 7 – yes, 0 – no.
c.Election of Board Secretary for 2 years.
Shafer made a motion to nominate Stacy Cole as the Boards Secretary, seconded by Greuel. Member’s votes were: Shafer – yes, Hendrickson – yes, Greuel – yes, Barnard – yes, Schultz – yes, Cole – yes, and Pfeiffer – yes. MOTION CARRIED 7 – yes, 0 – no.
d.Set date, time, and location of regular board meetings.
Greuel made a motion to set the date to the 3rd Wednesday of the month, time to 6:30pm, and the location to Windsor Jr/Sr High School Library, seconded by Hendrickson. MOTION CARRIED by voice vote – all yes.
10.Adjournment
A motion to adjourn was made by Hendrickson, seconded by Shafer at 6:41pm. MOTION CARRIED by voice vote – all yes.
