Montrose FPD responds to 16 fires in 2016

Montrose Fire Protection District responded to 16 calls in 2016, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System obtained by the East Central Reporter.

The calls in Montrose included 16 fires - 11 structure fires and five other fires.

In all, the department saw $500 in fire loss - or about $31 per fire.
