Milton Township is under scrutiny following reports that it may have entered into an agreement with a private company to handle traffic enforcement duties. According to allegations, the township allowed this company to issue citations and demand payment for tickets.

The legality of these actions has been questioned. The township’s attorney reportedly stated in writing that such activities were not legal.

Edgar County Watchdogs are asking anyone who received one of these citations by mail to send them a copy. They are also requesting information regarding the Milton Township ‘Pet’ Food Bank.
