Horizon Health announced on Apr. 7 that it will host its annual Twilight Walk in honor of all nurses on Wednesday, May 6, at 6 p.m. The event will take place at the Horizon Health main campus in Paris.

The Twilight Walk is organized to recognize National Nurses Week and serves as a tribute to active, retired, and deceased nurses. The walk is free for participants.

Community members can purchase luminaries for $3 each to honor specific nurses of their choice. These luminaries will be displayed during the walk. Luminary purchases can be made online at MyHorizonHealth.org/Twilight until Sunday, May 3.

Funds raised from luminary sales support Horizon Health’s Nursing Foundation Scholarships.

For more information about the event or purchasing luminaries, interested individuals are encouraged to contact Kyra Graham by email at KGraham@MyHorizonHealth.org or by phone at 217-466-4379.
