Horizon Health announced on Mar. 18 that it will host its annual Foot Care Clinic on Thursday, March 26, at the High Rise apartments located at 230 South High Street in Paris.

The event aims to provide essential foot care services to residents of the High Rise and Highland Court, while also welcoming the general public from 11 a.m. to noon without an appointment. Both adults and children can attend as walk-ins during this time.

Podiatrists Dr. Brittany Wojnicki and Dr. Anna Ballard from Horizon Health will offer services such as washing feet, trimming nails, and making referrals for further care if needed. Each participant will receive a new pair of shoes and socks. The Horizon Health Rehabilitation Services team will also conduct functional balance testing and fall risk assessments.

Horizon Health expressed gratitude to First Christian Church in Paris for donating 22 pairs of children’s shoes, as well as to TruArch Foot & Brace of Terre Haute for their partnership in supporting the event.

Financial donations are needed to continue offering this free clinic in future years. Those interested in contributing can visit MyHorizonHealthFoundation.org and click “Make a Gift,” or mail a check payable to Horizon Health Foundation at 721 East Court Street, Paris, IL 61944 with “Foot Care Clinic” indicated in the memo line.
