This portion of the City Council meeting is reserved for persons who desire to address the Council. PRESENTATION: Recognizing Kingspan employees, the 911 dispatcher and MFD personnel for their life saving efforts during a cardiac arrest event.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Motion – Adopt Special Ordinance No. 2026-2002: Approving a right-of-way easement south of County Road 1000 North near US Highway 45 to Mattoon Solar, L.L.C. for installing and maintaining an underground electrical power transmission line. (07-1-00017-001)
2. Motion – Adopt Special Ordinance No. 2026-2004: Declaring personal property owned by the municipality surplus; and authorizing the sale or disposal of the property.
3. Motion – Approve Council Decision Request 2026-2661: Approving the bid of $745,530 from K. Wohltman Construction for adding a drive through bay at Fire Station #3 located at 2700 Marshall Avenue.
4. Motion – Approve Council Decision Request 2026-2662: Approving the purchase one 2025 Ford Explorer Police Interceptor vehicle in the amount of $51,971 from Pilson Auto Center.
