Casey Westfield Community Unit School District C-4 Board of Education met Dec. 15.

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

1. Roll call. 

2. Recognize visitors. Individual visitors are allowed to bring up topics for Board discussion, information, or consideration at this time and/or indicate agenda items they may be interested in addressing later in the meeting. Complaints or certain situations involving specific employees or students are not to be addressed in open session of the Board meeting. The Board may hear complaints or certain situations involving specific employees or students in closed session. The Board president shall determine whether a situation requires addressing in closed session.

3. Public hearing on proposed 2025 Certificate of Tax Levy.

4. Act upon approval of the following consent agenda items:

a. Minutes of the regular meeting of November 17, 2025;

b. Review of the financial and budgetary reports and approval of the current invoices for payment;

c. Destruction of the verbatim record of those meetings 18 months and older as authorized by Board Policy 220 and 220-E1; and

d. Schedule of Regular Board of Education Meetings for 2026

5. Act upon the adoption of the 2025 Tax Levy Resolution

6. Act upon the approval of a lease/purchase agreement for school buses.

7. Conduct Second reading and adoption of Board Policy Updates

8. Administrator Reports

9. Addendum

10. Act upon approval to adjourn to closed session under c1 (employment), c9, and c21 (discussion closed meeting minutes) of section 5 ILCS 120/1 et seq. of the Illinois Open Meetings Act.

11. Act upon approval to reconvene to regular session.

12. Act upon approval of closed session minutes of November 17, 2025
