Rep. Miller had the pleasure of hosting a group of students from Lakeland Student Government at the Capitol today. Expressing his enthusiasm, Rep. Miller stated, "I had a fantastic group of students visit me today from Lakeland Student Government! Lakeland is an outstanding college that is committed to changing lives through the power of learning."
One of the notable attendees was Jackie Schertz, a Production Agriculture Alumni and Student Representative to the Board of Directors, as highlighted by Rep. Miller during the visit.
Appreciating the visit, Rep. Miller extended his gratitude by saying, "Thank you all for visiting me today!"
The visit from the Lakeland Student Government adds to a series of engagements Rep. Miller has had with students, as previously documented during the visit of Hoopeston FFA students to the Capitol.
