Q2 Recap: 1 parolee from Douglas County convicted of financial crimes or fraud set for release

There was one offender convicted of a financial crime or fraud living in Douglas County released on parole during the second quarter of 2021, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the East Central Reporter.

The data shows the released offender was a woman. She was convicted in 2020 when she was 59 years old. She is now 60.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The following table shows how many offenders convicted of financial crimes or fraud were paroled during the second quarter of 2021 in each Illinois county.
