Q2 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Jasper County?

There were three offenders released on parole during the second quarter that live in Jasper County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by East Central Reporter.

The data shows that all of the released offenders in Jasper County were men. The median age of the parolees was 41. The youngest parolee was a 30-year-old man sentenced for a financial crime or fraud in 2017, and the oldest was a 56-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving alcohol in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Robert A. Malloch. He was convicted of a crime involving alcohol in 2017 when he was 54 years old. He is now 56.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
