Lincoln Fire Protection District responded to 47 calls in 2016, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System obtained by the East Central Reporter.
The calls in Lincoln included 40 fires - 20 structure fires, six vehicle fires and 14 other fires.
In all, the department saw $137,300 in fire loss - or about $3,433 per fire.
The department also received seven false calls, including one malicious call and 6 other false calls.
The calls resulted in one civilian fire-related injury.
