Arcola School District 306 board meets to review proposed school project, price change
The Arcola School District 306 board held a regular meeting on Wednesday, May 4.

Building Committee Minutes – May 4, 2016
Present: Tom Mulligan, Superintendent; Ken Vogt, Head of Maintenance, Kim Kennel and Angie Gentry;
Board Members: Traci Watson, Dr. Robert Arrol, Jim Crane, Sue Stout and Ginger Keilhorn;
Visitors: Representatives from CTS.
The meeting was called to order at 6 p.m. The committee discussed the proposed project for the elementary all purpose room and the new heating project to remove the new building heat from the existing large boilers. The committee discussed several changes and the pricing related to the project. The building committee, after the attorney’s review of the contract, decided it will recommend approval of both projects to the full school board at the May 11 meeting.
The committee also discussed and will recommend approval of Sealing and Crack Filling the NW Playground; Crack-Filling and Striping of the Main Drive, South and West Parking Lots; and replacement of the high school roof above the art room.
The meeting adjourned at 9 p.m.
