The Cumberland CUSD #77 Board of Education discussed field trip requests in a regular meeting on March 17.
The meeting, which was held in the Unit Office, started with the recognition and communication with visitors. There were discussions about Above and Beyond Award, the approval of consent agenda and minutes of previous meetings.
The financial reports were approved, and so were current invoices for payment and the substitute list. The Treasurer's Bond was discussed and also the IHSA membership.
Board and administrative reports were presented in the meeting, as there were discussions about building principals. Field trip requests were discussed thereafter. Then, there was the first reading of handbook changes.
The first reading of the Risk Management Plan was done in the meeting. There were discussions about an electrical project and the HVAC maintenance agreement.
Thereafter, there was an executive session to discuss matters like employment, appointment, resignation, evaluation of personnel, matters relating to an individual student and negotiations.
