Marshall City Council to approve sewer project details

The Marshall City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. today to act on change orders, applications and resolutions for the city’s infrastructure.

A presentation from the Laborers Home Development Corporation will follow committee and department reports, and an update on Marshall's Main Street as well as approval of previous meeting minutes.

Also on the agenda for approval will be ordinances accepting Terry Stephen’s petition for annexation to the city and a related petition rezoning the Terry Stephen property.

Additionally, a change order from Hoerr Construction Inc. for a sewer lining project in the amount of $10,721 will be discussed, along with a payment application from Hoerr in the amount of $ 22,346.

Resolutions for maintenance and improvement of streets and highways rounds out tonight’s agenda along with a pair of payments: a non-standard preliminary engineering services agreement for motor fuel tax funds with Francis Associates in the amount of $32,000; and payment to the Illinois Department of Transportation for Streetscape Phase II in the amount of $25,489.

The meeting will be held at 201 S. Michigan Ave.
