Shoppers and browsers alike should mark their calendars for the Spring Country Spirit Antique Show, which will be held this coming weekend, March 4-5, at two local sites.

The show’s two buildings, located minutes apart, promise “the best early and primitive country antiques offered by hand-picked quality dealers from 15 states.”
The first site is at the Arcola Center, 107 W. Main St. in downtown Arcola. The public is invited to peruse the merchandise during special preview hours for both buildings; preview hours for the Arcola Center are scheduled for 1 to 4 p.m. Friday, March 4.
Country Spirit’s second location is the conference center at the Best Western Plus hotel, less than five minutes from downtown. The Best Western Plus Hotel Conference Center is located at 917 Green Mill Road off exit 203 on I-57, at the intersection of Interstate 57 and Illinois Route 133 on the southeast side of the interstate.
Preview hours for the second location are 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 4.
Shoppers are invited for live music and refreshments in the hotel lobby from 4 to 5 p.m. between the two Friday preview sessions.
Actual show hours for both locales are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 5.
